Preschool
Centner Academy’s dedication to our students’ academic and social emotional learning experiences are the driving force of our curriculum. Our preschool curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to tap into rich and thematic cross-curricular experiences from academics, to play, to the arts, and relationships. Together they fundamentally shape our young learners’s growth and development as well as encourage a love of learning. We prepare our young students to be excited, deep thinkers with a big heart.
Project-Based Learning
Our preschoolers participate in Science Fair, Earth Day Events, History & Literature Projects, Math World Wide Competitions, Entrepreneurship, and learn the Engineering Design Process to help them learn in the real world, not just in classrooms.
Social-Emotional Learning
Centner Academy leverages conscious discipline and focuses on mindfulness throughout the school day. All of our classrooms have Zen Zones for meditation and our preschoolers actively participate in reflective journaling to help them develop a growth mindset.
Differentiated Instruction
We believe in meeting children where they are and helping them grow from there. This is put into practice through our focus on ability grouping and on content acceleration for students who are ready to take the next steps in their learning.
Cross-Curricular Instruction
Our faculty help students connect their learning across subjects by using art history immersion, guided reading, and real world mathematics. Our dual language immersion program also integrates cultural education to help our students develop empathy for people across the world.

Our application process begins with a private tour with a member of the friendly Centner Academy admissions team. We can’t wait to meet your family and learn more about your learners.
Prospective students and families will be invited for interviews to make sure our school community is a great fit.
Interview
After you fill out our inquiry form, we will provide you with access to our Online Admissions Portal.
Decision
The Admissions Team sends decisions by email. If your family is accepted, you will have two weeks to accept or decline our admission offer and complete the enrollment contract
